A few sneak peaks of my GY-19M Lime Green Metallic NSX-R Rep

Hood was Backyard/VIS and had a few waves in front of the vent that always bothered me so instead of sanding that down I opted to buy a brand new one and have it fit and finished perfect from scratch.... Will hang the other 02+ Lime Green Metallic hood on my wall

And driver door had small bodywork done many years ago before I bought the car and that bothered me as well so BlkEvl hooked it up with an immaculate original black paint door for an awesome price!!! I've had the car almost 10 years now and plan on keeping it forever so wanted to remedy any small things that urked me in my mind while parts are still sourceable.

Wheels/headlight housing and all that will be ........... ........
May also be refinishing my NSX-R rep wheels to match as well for later on when I'm over the Advans or just want to go back to OEM NSX-R styling. Which is also why I will keep the NSX-R emblems and black oem mirrors so I can switch to that look whenever.

Guess you're just gonna have to wait and see

pictures asap !!! :)

why new hood and door?
what headlight housing color; dark grey/gunmetal?

so much for refinishing the wheels next season

This scene right here looks identical to when I painted my NSX.

Looking good!

Me too!! haha

But that was back in 2009 when I first did the lime green... He is swapping the hood and driver door for me and insisted on doing all fresh. Can't complain with that

All new fresh spies hecker...

Looking good so far . How much longer you have til this thing gets done? Can't wait to see it all put back together. Want me to take my wheels off and ship them to you that way you have it there already to install

Car is finished... well mostly. We pulled a couple over-nighters to get it done and to Gold Coast Concours in Glen Cove Long Island this past weekend.

Finally was able to meet Arista5 Mike and snap a couple super quick shots of his Imola and my Lime green nose to nose.

Still have to button up some things, put the door caps back on... but in whole it's back together. Paint/body came out immaculate. Also fully wrapped the roof in carbon including pillars, door trim and handles, key locks, front JP Aero lip, Rear Difflow diffuser and more. Wheels are now Black as well, also shaved the front emblem. Didn't want to get crazy in changing the car up, but spent a ton of time on small details. Here's a teaser...

Looks awesome. And while I normally don't think black is a nice looking finish do the advan 5s it suits your car perfectly.

I do think the car looks better with a blck front emblem however.

Now when does the interior project start ?? :)

Some more from the show...

In for more pix. I don't know about the Di-noc roof but the car definitely looks good!

I'm not feeling the carbon roof but Damn, the paint is just WOW . Awesome job Chris .The wheels looks nice also .

+1 im wondering the same thing.

just realized you shaved off all the lights! super clean.

now lets get some more pictures from the back and with the door caps on!

Looks very nice; Is the roof wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl or is it overlayed with carbon fiber?

Roof is carbon wrapped. My body guy really wanted to wrap it and I wasn't so eager but once he did it all it looks damn good. And can always be reversed.

Lights have been gone for years!!

Heres a good shot of it... door caps are on now but this was before I did them.

Looks awesome. Couple of minor recommendations...

- Color match those centercaps. Maybe plastidip? Just not a fan of bright silver centercaps on dark wheels.
-Lose the CF wrap. :D

This set of Model 5's are sold  Onto the next set...
