The government thought I drive a clunker? I mean, she's a little thirsty, sure...

:biggrin:I was surprised to see the NSX on the list. I went cars.gov and searched under 91 NSX showed combined MPG 18. It seems like most stock NSX's get in the 20 mpg range combined, from personal experience (23 mpg) and from others who replied to the what mpg do you get thread.

But to be part of the program, the car has to be running and able to drive on the street. I don't know of any NSX in such condition that wouldn't bring much more than $4,500, other than some of those listed who want an electronic $$$ deposit (scammers).

They might as well drop it from the list... what I thought was crazy, is that my daughters old Buick Park Avenue didn't qualify... I would consider her car a clunker.

It appears the money is about out for the cash-for-clunkers program... but it looks like they might try to gather more funds to keep it going.

I don't need another NSX, but I would be willing to snatch up all I could that are road worthy for $4,500. I wouldn't even drain the oil and sieze the engine.

WAT!?!?! I guess now there is no incentive for me to trade my nsx in for a new F#@ker. Only. Runs. Downhill Focus with the Microsoft Sync software!?!?! Oh well their loss.
