    Vvis

My car is being retuned this morning. But, I want to check and see if my VVIS is disabled. Can someone tell me which vacuum line I am looking for? A picture would be great, but a description is nice too.

I just want to make sure that the vacuum line is inplugged or capped before the car goes on the dyno.

    Thanks,
    Nathan

Here is a picture of the VVIS assembly (#4), it sits inside of the intake manifold:

The valves are actuated by the dashpot (#7), which has a vacuum source going to it; remove this vacuum line, plug up the source, and place a cap over the dashpot. Before you do this, use a hand vacuum generator to ensure the plates are at their 90 degree orientation.

Thanks for the picture and instructions John. But I thought that was all you had to do was pull the number 3 vacuum line that sits on top of the TB?
