    Who Can Tango!

I am finding that NSX Primers have many talents. Was wondering if there are any Tango dancers or even members just interested in this sensual of all dances. The nicest thing about the Tango is that no two people dance it the same way, it is the truest dance of individuality, and true dancers appreciate every time the Tango is danced for the beauty of the dance!

We had guests from Argentina over our house this weekend and they treated us to the off-Broadway hit "TANGUERA". Fresh from Buenos Aires, it is the first tango musical ever. Anyone who gets the chance to see it, they will not be disappointed. Ran 18 months in Argentina and is now playing around the world.
Award winning choreography and sensational moves by the entire cast. Well worth the price of a ticket.

I may even take some lessons this winter while the NSX is asleep. haha! Here is something of Tango on YouTube but not about this show.

I do a lot of ballroom dancing and Tango is one of my favorites. It is usually the one dance that women seem to find the most intriguing/interesting. Anyway teaching her steps is a pretty good excuse for me to lift her and bend her most of the time.

Nice! Do you teach ballroom Tango or Argentine? And, how hard is it to throw your leg to the back of you bent at the knee where it looks almost "rubbery?" I really like that move. I was told that the floor surface and the type of shoes are very important. I fancy the bending of the female, as well, especially if she is "hot!"

I teach on an amateur level... to my dates... LOL.... I didn't mean to say I am a teacher breaking that student/teacher trust.

Problem with Tango is you really need a lot of room and can't really turn it into a social dance. The music itself is very popular although many do not recognize it when they hear is... its used in many popular ads like this:

    Or pop music like this:

    Re: Who Can Tango!

That's how I met my wife (through ballroom dancing). The Waltz, Rumba, and Tango are my wife's favorite dances. I like the Rumba, West Coast Swing and the Cha Cha. Took some lessons in the Argentine Tango, but never master enough of that dance. The other ballroom dance that I can't do is the Viennese Waltz. Since our 4th child, we do not have much time to go ballroom dancing much, but would love to get back into ballroom dancing on a regular if the opportunity arises.

    1) finding the right person and
    2) being the right person.
