This just in;
The White House today is deciding on an approach which would allow for all the organizations to give their respective 2009/2010 awards to President Obama in one gala evening at an undetermined location somewhere in Washington, D.C.
Due to the many pressing matters being attended to by the President, it is felt the time spent at each of these individual events gets to be costly and time consuming. The plan would be that all of the awards which Mr. Obama is scheduled to receive in the coming months which includes the Golden Globe, People’s Choice, SAG Award, Grammy Award, Independent Spirit Award, Guild Award, Tony Award, Critics Award and the Emmy Award, among countless others, should be given out in One Gala Evening sometime next week.
If this approach proves to be time and cost effective, universities may look into a one day and location event for the following week when they get ready to present President Obama with honorary Doctorate Degrees from Columbia, Princeton, Yale, MIT, Cornell, Penn, Harvard, Brown, Dartmouth, Stanford and Duke, to name a few.

I wonder what the record is for the most awards given at a single event, lol.
"Donald Unger, an allergist in Thousand Oaks, California, earned the medicine prize for addressing another timeless question: does cracking knuckles really cause arthritis, as his mother warned him it would? As a child, he naturally thought his mother omniscient, but as a teenager he learned about science and started questioning received wisdom of this kind."
"To resolve the issue Unger embarked on a long-term controlled experiment, and began cracking the knuckles on his left hand twice a day, but not those on his right (Arthritis and Rheumatism, vol 41, p 949). He has done so for more than 60 years, and never suffered arthritis in either hand. "Mother, you were wrong," he says, looking heavenwards. What he now wants to know is: "Was it really necessary for me to eat my broccoli?"

"The road to hell is really grippy, with some wicked left handers, and loads of run-off."
To me there really aren't any awards which have that much meaning anymore. It all seems to be rigged or something. Someone use to actually have to do something to get an award. There use to be merit!
it's become very predictable, watching life sometimes I feel like I am in the audience at a pro-wrestling match surrounded by fools who believe it's all real.

Regardless whether he deserves them or not at least they are smart enough to think of this. I rather have him working on issues then having to attend a bunch of award ceremonies that will take up his time in doing what he is supposed to be doing......He has enough on his plate as is......
