Just picked up a car recently.
The new owner for my NSX is super nice guy and I know he is just as meticulous as I am. We are going to Cars and Coffee together next week.

Very nice car, logical choice after the NSX.
May I ask how much the insurance cost just in case I consider one in the near future?
Thanks...![]()
oh.... wow.... simply stunning. what a gorgeous car. i am beyond envious![]()
Looks great. Congrats!
Thanks guys
To be frank, I like everything about it more than NSX, other than trunk and higher maintenance cost.
I purchased the 360 to drive it as much as I can, I plan to do my best to put on as many miles as I can. Perhaps even as a daily like many do on Fchat. Most probably thought I would get a GT-R for sure, they are definitely not wrong yet. 360 and GT-R to me are what NSX and Supra was to me years ago. I just have different priorities.
What I dislike about the 360 modena
Trunk:
It is an huge issue because the 360's trunk sucks badly. I always carry hookah hose, laptop, detailing kit and California duster in every car, so that I could dust off the car after a drive. I have to open the door, put the key in the ignition, open the lever, flick the electronic switch to open the front trunk. It not only felt like a missile firing routine, it also sounds like it.
Interior room:
Too much room inside especially with carbon fiber sport seats (a few inch lower than standard seats). I am 5'11" and I look like a little kid inside this car. One can be 6'8" and fit in this car with a helmet on.
What I like about it
Handling:
This car feels wide driving in straight line due to the width, but once you get into turns, it feels small almost like sure footed S2000. It is like you have the best aspect of S2k + the best aspect of NSX combined. The car just handles better than my NSX even in comfort mode, flick the sport switch, the suspension firm up immediately, it gets really... stiff. The brakes are also quite a bit better than the stock NA1 brakes I had.
Gearbox:
The 6spd has very short gear ratio, in sport mode, ASR off, chirping the tire in 1, 2nd, 3rd in 275 Michelin Pilot Sport is fun. Took me one full day getting used to the Ferrari gated selector, once I do, I love it. I spent nearly over a month just on researching 6spd vs F1 in Fchat. Finding 6spd was such a pain in the butt, and they actually sell at higher price in the used market despite F1 was a $10k + option.
Clutch: Most effortless engagement I have ever experienced. You have to try hard to actually stall in this car. Letting off the clutch is like letting off brake on an automatic, anyone can drive this car.
Power:
It is not blazing fast based on my fairly high standard, but I have no complaint due to the power/weight ratio, it loves to rev, much more so than NSX and it has decent torque. In right hands it is capable of 12.2sec in 1/4mile, my Supercharged NSX definitely should had been able to pull a sub 12s in right hands. However, even if my NSX had 1000hp, I would had prefer 360 the same way I prefer NSX over 1000hp Supra.
Look:
Subjective, I have always love the look, especially the rear end of the 360 and the engine bay. Based on what I have experienced so far, 360 gets a lot more attention from far wider range of crowd, not necessarily a good or bad thing. I meet a hedge fund manager recently because he approached me to chat when he saw the car.
Fun factor:
I don't think there is even a comparison, it is hard to explain. I would say with confidence that I will not buy another NSX until Honda build a GT-R level performance car that look as good if not better than original NSX.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying, and a very non biased opinion. Thats what I figured it would be like, its everything the NSX but better. I still think the F360 looks 100x's better than the F430.

The 360/430/458 series always serves to remind us how badly Honda screwed the pooch with the development of the NSX. Don't get me wrong -- I love the car. But keep in mind that the current F-car in this line at the time the NSX came out was the 348. Clearly, there's no comparison there -- the NSX wins in every category.
But then Ferrari came out with the 355. And then the 360, and so on. And the NSX got ... what? A slightly larger engine and bubble-lights.
I would have loved to see some back-and-forth competition between Honda and Ferrari at this level -- which each new car besting the other's previous effort. Instead, Honda just wimpered away...

I love that color. I've been banging my head lately trying to decide if the F-car is the next step or not. Please keep us updated!

The difference may have been that the NSX lost Honda money for each one sold, vs the Ferrari making money and being their bread and butter. Unless Honda could sell the NSX for $150K, it would have been a poor business decision to dump a ton more R&D money into the car to update it beyond the Ferrari. Just speculation on my part though.
Hey Jason.......great color choice. I actually don't like Ferrari Red....I like F cars in Black or Silver. Anyway, what's up w/ the daily driver talk ? I thought you bought a Bimmer recently because you wanted a 4 door daily driver ? Whatever the case, congrats on the new car ( I want a ride next time I see you !!!).
