Missing Engine Mystery
The other day I took my car to have it smogged. I had to take it to a smog only station, but that's a different story. The guy drove my car into the bay so I was watching him very closely. After he pulled it in, he popped the front compartment hatch, got out and opened it. Looked around and closed it. I thought that was a little strange. He then proceeds to open the trunk, walked to the rear of the car and opened the lid. Again, he had a strange look on his face. Then I realized that he couldn't find the engine. I couldn't keep from laughing when I walked into the bay and asked him if he was looking for the engine. He looked a little sheepish and admitted that was the problem. I pointed to the engine...I don't have an engine cover!I guess he thought that was part of the air conditioning or something.
Funny experience.
