Verify Codes and Causes: TCS and CEL lights flashing.

I've been looking over the service manual and on prime but I just want to make sure that I am reading my codes correctly:

After jumping the connecter, here are the flashes.

TCS light came on and was flashing after a drive.
( 3 One Second lights and 7 short quick lights)


CEL light is flashing as well:
( 4 one second lights and one quick light)

Do I read the CEL Light as 41?
Do I read the TCS Light as 37 or is this completely different?

You are reading the blinking lights correctly and transferring that count to a malfunction code. The Check Engine Light (CEL) is the most important. The Traction Control Light only comes on with certain CEL lights. See page 6-12 of the Service Manual for more info and the codes. If you have not done so, the service manual was available on this forum site for download.

Dalybo - thank you for your help. Larry B has also assisted me and I found that I had my front o2 Sensor clip lose and not all-the-way plugged in. I have since fixed this and reset the ECU with no light occurring after a drive. thank you very much.

Also- I have downloaded the service manual and it has helped a ton over the past two-years. It is a great reference.:smile:
