Ko-nsx exhaust thread

I am going through the exhaust bug, I want what we all want. F1 sound, lightweight and adds a little HP. I've decided to make a thread with HD clips as i go through them. I'll stop when i find one i like, that i can afford, which will probably make this about one page long!! :biggrin: Picking a new exhaust is harder now than it was 4 years ago!!!!! Thanks to all the vendors that i have bugged so far!!!!:biggrin: Maybe i can be the Synth19 of EXHAUST!!!!

1. Paddock Performance Exhaust, circa 2003. I have the one with the little can(if ya'll remember there were 2 options). Fitment is excellent and i was happy with it, until i heard a few of the others at the nsxcraze events!!! Planning to install testpipes and i'll post another clip. This video is with OEM cats

The car sounds remarkably good w/out cats or exhaust. I'd say go that route.

Man it was loud as hell! BUT, surprisingly after 4k it sound good from inside the car.

It doesn't sound too loud on the computer, but I imagine the camcorder had some kind of sound leveling to it.

Happiness is an unmuffled exhaust. Not legal, but it is happy.

i had a cold and lost my pimp voice.:smile: Alas-nsx, thought my, "collar of shame" was funny while helping me.. He even made his parents come put and listen to me talk!!! I putting on the testpipes now!!!

Re: Ko-nsx exhaust thread- Pride v2

I installed the Pride V2 exhaust today. The exhaust sound FAR exceeded my expectations. I've heard the gt one 5.1, this i guess is supposed to sound like the 6.1. WHATEVER its supposed to sound like, it fits my car perfectly!!! I was thinking it was gonna be an el-farto. The 5.1 was tinny but this one is definitely a refined head tuner!!!!!!!! Completely tolerable while cruising but sounds like a refined exotic sports car when stomped on. Even when i stomped on it, it was quiet in the cabin. I was skeptical but after driving and getting a thumbs up from Alas-nsx, i am happy with it.:biggrin: Aggressive looking cars need an aggressive exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros-reasonably priced, EXCELLENT customer service, packaged well, fitting exotic sound, easy install. Ti slip on tips look nice and can help in adjusting the tips sticking out from the bumper.

Cons-I still need to adjust it some, the tailpipes are off a little and the passenger side tip touches the rear valence a little. THIS COULD be corrected by tweaking or maybe in need to adjust the brackets. Its definitely not a deal breaker. I'm sure every car is different.

This is a great thread! Keep up the great work! For people looking to get an exhaust, your videos are probably one of the "better" video references to use. I'm glued to your thread and keep checking back! :redface:

PS. Is it possible to add a little bit more of "normal driving" in the videos? I think it would be great for the members in CA who have to deal with strict law enforcement and want to hear how the exhaust sound in the normal rpm ranges.

I still can't believe your doing the exhaust thing. It has been a couple months. I don't blame you for the right one though, it's like picking paint colors and wheels. I'll buzz you when I land.

Do You notice an increase in power without the cats? or is it only an increase in sound?
