    91 red/ivory

    Just picked up the car on 3 Sep 10 from another prime member and it was stock except for the engine cover being mesh inserted and the wheels were painted. I have been buying parts since June of 09 and haven't got them all on yet. Some of the pics are from a Iphone sorry I will have to find my camera and I shoot get some more pro photos here soon. I also had other parts since I planned on going FI but after driving the car l like the way it is without FI.

    Engine
    HKS intake
    Cover converted with mesh

    need to install
    DC NA2 header
    DC header adapter
    STMPO test pipes
    RM Dual DTM exhaust
    Dali +2 oil pan

    Plan on Prospeed stage 2 chip

    Interior

    Need to install
    MOMO team 300 steering wheel with tilting hub
    Omori Oil temp gauge

    Plan on SOS CF trim overlay, JDM ITR shift Knob

    Exterior

    APR GTC 300
    Replica CF mirrors
    Relocated spoiler 3rd brake light on top of engine cover

    Need to install
    Kite Garage CF rear diffusor
    3" APR Riser

    Plan on USDM Acura ITR front and rear badges, DF "R" undertray and battery tray, VIS "R" hood, custom Duct or DF if it fits?, Shine Gt front lip or maybe a different lip.

    Brakes

    Need to install
    STMPO deflectors

    Plan on pads maybe more

    Suspension
    02-05 NSX-R springs and shocks
    CT front clamps
    STMPO FCB (Imola)
    STMPO FSTB V2
    STMPO RSTB (Imola)

    Plan on possibly R front sway and NON-C rear but undecided at this point

    Wheels and tires on the car
    F Enkei RPF1 17x8 + 45 Falken 452 215/40/17
    R Enkei RPF1 17x9.5 + 38 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport 275/40/17

    Have other sets that fit this car also have NT01's

    plan on lug nuts close to Imola in color or Imola in color

    Removal for weight savings etc

    Removed Wipers for now
    Removed spare tire and pump etc
    Removed engine bay passenger side vent fan

    where is the third brake light? in the engine bay? looks pretty cool.

    got any pics of the third brake light in the day light? I mean I wanna see how its mounted.

    nice ride though I want the Ivory interior so bad.

    Niceeee. Can't wait to see you install the 3" riser. I'm still holding back on getting the apr gtc300 wing..keep up the good work.

    Lots of stuff removed. Get some racing seats. Should save you 20+lbs or more with both stockies out. 40ish lbs for each seat man.

    I would but I love the stock ones, I wish there was a conversion rail for them. There isn't really any tracks near me. I'm keeping the seats and AC for now. It will be a few months before the headers and clutch to go in.

    For when I go back home to PIR or to drag race the yocals here I guess since thats all they do here. Maybe I can find some autox here. Or i can drive 3 hours to the track.

    Agreed, and that wing is ridiculous. I'm assuming it provides some sort of downforce....but is it mostly for aesthetics? Also, how do you drive in the rain w/o wipers? Is that legal?

    Jim, the wing is functional and fully adjustable, I will do a Splitter and rear defussor and probaly a vented hood once I get back home and on better roads and have access to a road track. One of the reasons it is raised is so I can see out the back. On the wipers, I'm not sure of the legality (probaly varies per state) I just put rainx on and don't intentionaly drive in the rain. If your not in a storm and continously going 40mph + its fine. Not practical for stop and go. I could also convert the wipers to driver's side only but I rather take the weight savings and not drive in the rain.


    Auto X starts in march so I maybe adding a gurney flap to the wing and adjusting the angle of attack


    tbnsxt the bar works great (all 3) the front strut tower was the most noticable for me. The car "hopps" over speed bumps without flex is what it feels like. I would also note after the RSTB the factory CD changer may no longer want to work or will skip.

    Help me understand why you are removing stuff to save weight and you have that huge tailgate party rear wing? I like the wing ok, but it should go too, if you are reducing weight...

    The wing is lighter than the stock spoiler and provides more downforce.

    I think it makes the car looksaggressive instead of yuppyish.
