Bottoms Up Beer Dispenser - why didn't I think of that?

My life is filled with "why didn't I think of that?" moments. This definitely belongs on the list.

I commend people who can turn a passion into a business.
This guy loves beer and created a business to love beer even more!
    That's passion!

I watched about 10 different clips on youtube trying to see how the bottom seals up after the cup is filled. Anyone know?

It's some type of magnetic trap door. However, what I cannot figure out is how they can make something like that at a cost of $0.40-.45 cents each... basically very cheap. Apparently a standard plastic cup like that cost $0.10.

I would have created a trap door that held itself close with the weight and pressure of the beer good enough for one time use... but magnets?

It's little plastic circles with magnets around them.
Apparently you can put your advertising on the little circles, and they anticipate people keeping the circles and taking them home. So the advertising covers some of the higher cost of the cups.

    Arrow back in day...

I wish I would've thought of magnets when in I had a construction-technology class in h.s. & we had to design/fabricate scaled-down pneumatic roofed/walled buildings. We were able to introduce air/gas into a broad range of quick-build structures but dealing w/ patency & parasitic losses was a challenge, when the air/gas supply was turned-off. We tried everything from rubber/silicon lined gravity plugs, remote-powered servos/actuators and even space research/exploration derived reusable adhesive sealants.
