Many people on here stays with the stock box and drop in either the UNI filter or a k&n. No gain from aftermarket intake, since its just a short pipe with a filter attached to it.
I know the Comptech intake is CARB legal but are there any other options besides this? Mostly looking for an aggressive sound (but HP gains are certainly welcome)
Any help is greatly appreciated

When Shad worked R&D at comptech, he told me most of the cone intakes that stay in the engine bay create to much heat soak and had a loss in hp. That's why most nsx's still keep the stock air box, and just add a k&n drop-in or get the uni drop-in which has a larger surface area compared to the k&n. But if your just looking for sound the mugen has a nice deep tone.
