there are dozens of headlight restoration products that yield the same results, though some last long than other. key is to remove via sanding or compounding the plastic surface until undamaged plastic is exposed(like polishing bodypanels). However, whats different from meguiars and other restoration kits is that this one has a final coat similar to if one were to spraypaint a can of clearcoat. Meguiars doesnt have a clearcoat, it just leaves a oil residue that looks clear for a couple weeks.
On plastic trim, i would think it only works assuming you can sand the plastic. Problem is, most plastic trim have are textured. What plastic trim on the NSX are you specfically talking about? I can sugguest Ultima Trim guard plus. it is a thick and heavy trim protectant that lasts for few months under daily use. Careful not to get it on paint, as it cures and becomes difficult to remove.
