Macninja the only reason I didnt bid on this car was your gonna laugh is the drivers seat bottom leather was slashed with a razor.

I didnt want to have to replace the leather seats LOL

was gonna use this car to rebuild Jason's 2002. but the damn leather?? why would someone cut it with a razor made me mad seeing it.

goodluck I am sure you dont need any parts as you have a ton but PM if you need something.

Good luck with the project, are the front rails damaged? I'm also trying to rebuild a '91 soon myself, my seats are torn wear and tear. But eitherway seats really not a big deal see http://leatherseats.com unless you want to spend the $$$ on OEM ones?

well if they took better pictures I could have figured out that the driver seat was NOT cut with a razor LOL

    damn it man....

anyway it doesnt look that bad what about the back of the car any close ups of that? that was another concern of mine.

let me know I have lots of parts

congrats I know you have wanted a LBBP for a long time.

fix this beast and drive it till the wheels fall off.

I admire the OP but gosh, there isn't a straight body panel on the car.
The front left suspension looks pretzled.

    Good luck and Godspeed.

I'm honestly surprised anything on this frame measured out perfectly....what was your datum?

This looks like a challenge, and I'm tuned in to see this thing come back to life

    Re: 2004 lbbp salvage build

for others the definition of Datum is as follows.

    1. A fact or proposition used to draw a conclusion or make a decision.
    2. A point, line, or surface used as a reference, as in surveying, mapping, or geology.

he has like 4 NSX's on his lot I am sure he can walk over to one of the others and measure. it doesnt look bad to me.

others might say its a great boat anchor LOL

others like me see a diamond in the rough. and how much fun it will be to rebuild it.

its like creating something with your hands and stepping back after your done and saying to your self I made this. that feeling is priceless and as close to giving birth as we men can get LOL

    Re: 2004 lbbp salvage build

@ the OP> How is this even worth repairing? Do you own a body shop or have experience doing this? In the end you have a salvage car that is not worth as much and hard to sell, inspect, insure, and register. It seems hardly worth it.

Im waiting for the V8s to come down in price. The R8 is the only car I would be willing to sell my NSX for. I want to build a twin turbo set up on one similar to the RS6 that I have.
