As further preparation for its sale, in late December I had the car thoroughly inspected at the Acura dealer that installed all of the Comptech mods.

As a result, I spent $6,900 on the following:

- new timing belt (important)
- new electronic power steering control unit (it was failing intermittently)
- new trunk lid shocks
- new engine-cover shocks
- new battery
- wheel alignment
- flushed brake fluid and replaced
- flushed coolant fluid and replaced

Also, there are two additional mods I forgot to mention in the original post:

- Glove compartment switch providing manual override of automatic radio antenna (so you can keep the antenna down when listening to CDs)

- Glove compartment switch providing manual override of the auto-dimming feature of the stereo head unit (so you can keep the stereo display bright when you’re running in daylight with car lights on)

New price: $59,000; Current mileage is 12,500. I have only put 150 miles on the car since the $6,900 pre-sale service described below.

This is a unique vehicle - low mileage 99T, many Comptech mods, custom audio, additional convenience mods, all stock parts included.
