Garage, Phase 1

Your garage/man cave looks amazing, very envious
what material or name to ask for is your garage floor? Got to do my floor soon

- - - Updated - - -

Where are you buying all your cool signs? Loving it, the wheels/hubcap looks great

Don't call it a "man cave". Living room, OK.

The floors are Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield - has held up very well for being now 8+ yrs old. Was applied to new concrete.

Every sign has a story...but California, Texas, Main and Belgium are part of these. The 1958 Edsel hub caps came off my Mom's car...like I said...a story in every piece.

Getting close enough to call it done...

Such a beautiful garage! Have you considered a lift? You could probably get a nice one that would not compromise your space since you have the height.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/d48501e0/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

Updates! I built myself a wall sconce from some old iron pipe and a gas pump handle I had laying around for 20 years...

Now I just need to get some cars back and I'll be sitting pretty!

Yeah, your garage is ok... it will keep the dirt off the cars.

Oh who am I kidding, your garage is making me so envious... its like garage porn!

I'd post pictures of my garage, but I don't want to show you up. Your little "man-cave" ain't got nothing on my one-car shack. ;)

Great garage, the nice part of getting a 4 post is for storage. Now you can buy another car or two!

Cool space!

If only I had as tall a garage...would totally get a lift so I could stack two cars (could use more vertical space in general). And I just renovated mine...

I don't think my wife would approve. Also, can you get them with an opener?

Looks like a great solution for light and also would completely clear the ceiling.

Updates!

My buddy Jeff stopped by with his i8 - that is a very fun car to drive by the way - and we tried it and my wife's car out to see if they fit:

THEN we got the Mustang we've been building for 6 years back from paint, and now its at the interior shop getting a whole new blue set of threads. Can't wait to see it done!

I hear this a lot...I have 9' ceilings and lift one car about 3'-4' and stick the hood of my daily driver underneath (I can actually fully stack almost any combination of cars I own). I don't stand under the car I am working on on the lift but I roll around on a rolling stool...it works great!

Where I park my car at work, the guy opposite me in the lot sometimes brings in his Plymouth Superbird / RoadRunner - like the one on the cabinets, but in an orangey-red - it makes such a noise!

This might not be the actual car, but is similar

I finally got both cars back home a week ago! The Mustang is mostly done, couple tweaks here and there, but otherwise looking great. The NSX was at the dealer for 4 months (you heard me right) getting the SOS Anti-lock Brake Update...had a couple bad parts but finally got everything sorted. Kudos to Chris.

So noticing the underside of the top car on the lift, as well as the car beneath were quite dark, I put on my engineer hat and made a set of 6500k LED lights with magnetic backing and wired it all up...truly awesome to work under there now. I'm making another set that will shine down on the lower car as well. The strips are so thin that they won't crush when fully lowered. I may need to sell these.
