My "build"

Alcantara wrapped pillars, seabelt cover panels, and headliner.

Originally wanted the Nsx-R sun visors but was afraid the internal foaming of them were the same as all others and that they are prone to cracking so I figured delete the sun visors since I never used them anyways.

I suggest if you ever want to do this, pay someone to do it. It's probably the most annoying DIY I've ever done, but maybe the glue was getting to me...

Since I did my door panel inserts I've been itching to do this. It looks awesome man!
 
This is the first time I am seeing your car even though I know you post often!

Your build is very nice and I like the story behind it, very cool to hear how people obtain their NSX as it's always a journey. You meet some really cool people along the way which is the same experiences I've encountered!

Glad to see you are running the same seats as myself, those are really the best seats for the NSX ~ great support and easy installation with the Bride rails!

Can't wait to see what's next on your list....
 
Met up with a semi local nsx owner and we, I mean he installed my WP pro BBK. Awesome kit and I really don't have any issues. Looks great and feels great too. Will be hitting the track at the xpo event and will give better impressions then.

They really filled that space behind my wheels though. And they are in my opinion as wide as stoptechs.

My 2nd photo shoot thanks to my friend Brandon for taking the time and getting me in on MLK day and before the snow storm in the area. We ran out of light since I arrived late "as always" so not to many exterior shots this time but everything came out great!

An update though, running at VIR this Saturday and Sunday and had some items I finally installed.

1. Dali trophy sway bar, the one that's bent
Was a pretty straight forward install

2. Source one swaybar links
I ordered per Iwilliem's information spacers, and longer bolts to not stress the helm joints so waiting on that stuff to come in

3. Cedar ridge non compliance front clamps
Straight forward install, Ben at Daisy auto did these

4. KW Clubsports with custom front spring rates
Now these were easy to install, but I thought I had issues with the kw springs. Thanks to Coz who came to the rescue because I thought they sent me the wrong springs at first, then I thought I had the adjustment collar wrong, and so on. I probably pulled my front suspension out and put back in a total of 5-6 times so now I'm a pro at taking out the suspension. I did have Bilsteins on there so they were easier to remove than I remember the long OEM ones being. I was on the phone with Coz throughout the entire process and he even called KW to make sure they sent me the correct ones. After a long weekend wait the word was to remove the helper spring which was suggested earlier anyways and put the new springs on. The stiffer front springs were longer than the regular clubsport springs so that was the confusion.

Coz also helped me dial these in and gave me some useful information which he personally uses on his car. I'm sure they would feel pretty good right out of the box but truthfully I set 3 of the 4 settings "since I forgot to do the last one" he gave me and drove around. The rear felt a little strange under WOT and then the next day I put the missing setting in place to be what Coz told me to do in the first place. Car feels great. I can't believe I waited this long for coilovers. I have less than one finger gap between my fender and tire and it still rides great. Although I am raising it slightly because of what I was told.

I'm sure I'm missing a few other random things I've had done but I'll post a picture or two of the parts, the car still basically looks the same.
 
Weight with half a tank of gas was 2866 without me in the car. I'll post corner balance results in a few

Here's my kw clubsport with custom spring rates that I bought from Coz. Along with the dali swaybar and a few other goodies. I can't believe how well the KW suspension is. I don't have much to compare it with but it totally transforms the car in a good, especially when it's dialed in.

I had member Justin dmscrx do the work. He has a shop that does some real cool builds and has a pretty cool Nsx product about to be released.
Here's the corner balance BEFORE adjustment. This was with 1/2 tank of gas and WITHOUT me inside. Not light, but not heavy either considering

Actually those are the normal length for the front springs, they are the same on the V3's and Clubsports.
Mine are shorter because of the big tires I run up front, 275x35x18, so even with the helper spring removed, I was still to high. We decided my fix would be a shorter 4 coil spring.
Your corner balancing came out great. Couldn't have done better myself :)
Your cross weight is great.
Right now your rake is at 1/4" so depending on how the car handles at the track, oversteer/understeer wise, make the changes we discussed with the rake 1 turn at a time front or rear.
I have a feeling you will probably lower the rear one turn or raise the front depending on how low it is before your done, but we'll see.

How come there's such a variance in your alignment from side to side ?
The measurements look like they are in inches, if they are, see if you can get him to measure in degree's.
Your tow and caster are not within spec either on the fronts.
The alignment looks terrible. Whoever did it needs to redo it correctly.
You need to have this fixed before you go out on track.
Rear camber as well.
I would start with -2.0 to 2.2 degree's if you can get it on the rear and have both sides matched.
I'd also have them max out your front neg camber and match them as well.
You will probably only get around -1.2 to 1.5 degrees if your lucky on the front of a stock car.

Awesome, great information. I'm going to call them and bring it back. They charged $150 for an alignment fed me a line of bs which I believed. Maybe you can't get more camber in the rear, but at least make it even...

Here's some pictures of the swaybar end links I was messing around with. I tried to do with Iwilliem did and put less stress on the ball joint and make it more of a 90 degree angle so that they can pivot if need be. I had to buy new bolts from mcmaster and also some aluminum spacers. I want to get aluminum tapered spacers like the black ones but I have no idea where to even look.

They need to get your caster within spec as well.
Actually, the tow might be ok, hard to read the sheet.
...and they can get more than -1.8 on your left rear.

Those look great.

Amazing looking work! Did you fabricate that radiator cooling/bracket panel?! That is genius. I just got the cooling panel, but would shell out for the panel/bracket in this first photo. I wouldn't need anything all carbon. Do you mind PMing me the details on the piece.

Some of you follow me on facebook/instagram but I figured I'd update this thread.

To start the engine bay picture was taken a few months ago, made the manifold cover and it makes my dirty looking engine bay look a little better.

Now for the carbon. This is just a start of things I have to come. These are 100% pure carbon and not overlaid stuff. It's infused with zero pin holes, and no gel coat. Just the good stuff. If you look closely at some carbon parts they're tinted to hide pin holes or bridging of the carbon fabric, and also some yellow over time due to the gel coat used or vinyl ester. If you ever buy carbon parts that are claimed to be made in house I beg you question the materials and processes used, if you have questions PM me and I'll give you my two cents.

Here's the seatbelt panels I made to match my headliner, as you can see even the mounting tabs are carbon

For the next few items I have 3 and 4 piece molds in the works. It's good to be back out of retirement.
