Hey guys, Figured it was good enough to post on now. Bought this 1 of 4 silver ivory NSX from another prime member after a mishap on the track. Here are a few pics as I bought the car:

After tearing it apart and looking it over we found the frame was slightly pushed over. Approx one inch. Sent it to a local body shop and had the car pulled. It came out easily and straight. Knowing it was going to be tracked I was not to terribly concerned about it being flawless but the body shop did a great job! We also replaced the right rear suspension. Upper and lower control arm and knuckle. Went with Tein Flex coilovers. CT Sway bars and that was all for now.

After suspension, frame and new pass side door we moved on to the interior.

Gutted it. Replaced ivory carpet with black and dyed the ivory on the doors and console. Also installed the new Oxygen audio iphone stereo and Alpine components.

Knowing this was going to be a track car I did not want to spend a ton of money on the paint. I wanted somethign quick and attention getting. I decided to vinyl wrap the car a Matte Orange color.. Still have to finish up on the mirrors etc but here is how it sits today!

Thanks for checking it out! Was a big undertaking for someone who does not like nor do big body repairs but It is a blast to drive!

Thanks
Brian

number 1....I miss Source1 automotive
number 2....that car is turning out sick
number 3....who's black nsx is that....if it's Justin's please kick it in the front fender for me
number 4....how much for that yellow nsx

1. We miss you too
2. Thanks!
3. Yes and prob not a good idea. But wait until you see that car in a week :) transformation coming !
4. 38 it's in classifieds here.

Doc yea you have seen that car a few times :)

The car has taken a little time to be put together but once you see the car we have been building for a client you will understand. :) can't wait until he puts pics up of that!

Also thanks to SOS they are expediting some front spacers. The 15mm just didn't push them
Out enough. And thanks to Mark at Pride I will have an exhaust with some test pipes next week also.

After that it's going to be driven/stored through the winter.
In the spring I'm getting CL65captain to give me some training on the track. Once I am Confident enough the power adding will begin. I will probably shoot for a little less power as my STMPO turbo car was 450ish at the wheels.

Larry B you did a great job on this motor the thing pulls and runs great!

...don't forget Joe, his paint looked indestructable:wink:

Cool car. Can those clips on the front bumper be removed or you must have them on? I feel like they stick out to much.

How did you dye the interior panels?

Nice job. That looks like it was a fun project. It's kind of sad to see one of the Sebring/Ivory cars gone though. The one that was at nsxpo look absolutely awesome.

If Source1 ever needs to hire a janitor or something of the sort, let me know. I'm highly trained in the custodial arts. I'm also really good at diaper changes if that would somehow translate or make me a better fit.

Hopefully I can make it out to the track this spring as well.

Thanks, it was a cool project. That one that was at xpo was flawless.

If I ever need service such as janitorial or diaper changes you will be my first call man! :)

Wow, if you didn't tell me, I would have never recognized the car! I wish you many happy miles. It is good to see LarryB and PbassJo's work not go to waste.

Brian
It's coming out even better than the way you described it at NSXPO
Great work and the matt Orange works as well especially for a track car. Can't wait to see the final product.
Oh and by the way you still owe me a Source1 T Shirt.
Regards to the guys and have fun when you get it out on the track.

I think those aftermarket small square mirrors painted black would look SOOO much better than the OEM ones.
