I personally don't think so.
I'm in the process of making a simple oil catch can for the nsx and I want to use clear hoses, u think those thick clear reinforced garden hoses will be able to withstand the engine heat? thanks

I wouldn't worry about it. If the garden hose melts all that could happen is an oil leak followed by the destruction of the engine. If that ocurrs you will still be happy knowing you saved five or six bucks on the hoses.
How do I run the hoses to oil catch tank?
Can you post pics?

Do you have a better suggestion for clear hoses?
>>better suggestion for clear hoses?
For clear hoses - no. These might suit your cosmetic needs but if you want to ensure they function OK there are lots of proven parts available from Dali, SoS and other vendors.
Aloha the Don,
While I'm not sure what size hoses you're looking for, I do know that they sell clear & transparent red fuel lines (not sure what sizes they have) at Mooneyes in Santa Fe Springs, CA.(ph#1-800-547-5422). A few of my friends are running them on their hot rods and they seem to hold up very well to the engine heat (you should check with the people at Mooneyes just to make sure that they'll work with what you have in mind). Hope this helps!!!

Use hoses that are rated for engine bay use, Simple and cheap should not be used in the same sentence as NSXOriginally posted by The DON
