Yes, that is correct if your T/B was not done before then you will need it...most new timing belt kits comes with new covers, just make sure you ask the parts guy.

Here are the differences between old/new:
It actually doesn't matter how many Kms you have on your car, a car from 1995 without a waterpump/tb change is trouble..
Please do the following, take a pic of the impeller after he takes out your pump, to document how much rust is there (and probably by now, throughout the rest of your engine)

Found the records the car gas had the wp/tb
Replaced at 37000 miles in 2003
It now has 82000 miles
Would it have the new covers ?
I am at years nit the mileage for the new
Wp so it just peace of mind.
