Nobody? Really? Hard to believe some of you long-time members or vendors don't know what this part is as it is OEM Honda---
Happened to run across one on Yahoo Japan and was wondering if any one here had one or experience with one? I assume it decreases the pedal travel. Comments?

you could post in the nsx fiesta Japan thread and maybe some of our intrepid world travelers who got to drive type R's could give you feedback.
Thank you both for your input. I swapped emails with Mark @ Dali today and he told me basically the same thing plus I just now compared the short-stoke pedal with the OEM LHD and the assemblies are nothing alike at the top. Oh, well---sure would have liked to have seen what it felt like compared to the stock pedal.
I drove an NA2-R 5 times now and I didn't notice any difference in pedal travel compare with my LHD.

I know people who installed it and they had to do some cutting and welding.
The first year NA2 NSX-R came with the standard peddles like ours, but they upgraded later.
S2k had similar peddles, and I couldn't drive it bare foot (When I'm wearing sandals).

What about just having adjustments made to the OEM unit to have shorter travel?

I bought one of these "NSXR" clutch pedals.
I removed my 1991 Clutch pedal & compared them & they are Identical. There's definately no "short stroke"
To change the stroke the clevis position on the pedal would have to be changed & this is not the case.
Also, RHD only
I was thinking of doing this mod mainly for track work since you have it done any other thoughts you could add here in regards to whether it is worthwhile from what I can find it just helps it get out of the way a bit? You have to purchase the damperless joint for it to work properly so it's not just the pedal
Cheers

Looking at the clutch pedal you couldn't really change the clevis pivot point anyway.
The best bet is to just remove the damper & run the bypass hose that SOS sells or make your own like i did.
It does change the feel of the clutch. Plus there's a good weight saving benefit. that thing weighs a lot for it's size.
I will as soon as I clear up my findings lol
It might not be of any use to LHD cars though as I'm not sure if the R pedal would suit you guys, in theory I can't see why it wouldn't, but if someone would care to post plenty of good photos, of standard LHD NA1 pedal and frame, I may be able to help better.
