'00-'05 AP-X NSX Resonated Test Pipes and High Flow Cats

OK everyone, the time has come to announce the upcoming release of my long awaited and highly anticipated test pipes and high flow cats for '00-05 cars.

- As with my '95-'99 pipes, there will be NO CEL (no trouble codes)

- Test pipes will be available resonated or straight through.

- Cats will be available in 100 cell or 300 cell.

- It is IMPORTANT to note that these (just like my '95-'99 pipes) allow installation of any 91-94 style exhaust onto '00-'05 cars without the need for any other adapters, saving time, weight, money and hassles. (in other words, these are a one piece adapter and test pipe/cat all in one!)

- I would also like to know if you are interested in a high flow cat or test pipe which replaces only the stock cats (this would be a copy of the original cat and therefore would still require adapters if you wanted to run a 91-94 exhaust but would allow the OEM '00-05 muffler to be run)

Prices are as follows:

- Resonated test pipes ("RTP") - $459

- Straight test pipes - $409

- High flow cats (100 or 300 cell) - $559


I will not be accepting pre-orders but I will start a list for those who would like a set so that I will know what the demand is like.

Please post if you would like a set and make a note if you would like test pipes, cats etc.

I would be interested in the straight test pipes. My car is a 2000 with the ARK dtx exhasut and adapters from SOS.

I will be requesting that people post sound clips after installation, the sound should be no different than the earlier cars with my pipes on.

That would be the RTP - unless you have to have cats...

I would suggest the RTP - but if you want "wide open" sound then the STP may just be the right thing for you!

Also - you won't need them so you can sell your adapters and recoup some funds!

Please advise what the difference between straight through, RTP and Cats are regarding sound coming from the exhaust. I have a Pride V2. What could I expect for sound with each of the three setups on my 2005?

What is the difference between 100 and 300 cel?

Ditto for me, least resistance, best sound, without a CEL.

Also, any preference in discount given to repeat customers who already have your exhaust system?? :biggrin:

To keep it simple:

STP = Loudest and raspy.

RTP = Still loud but no rasp.

Cats = a little louder than stock cats but more flow

100 cells per inch = more flow (almost same as a straight pipe but quieter)

300 cell per inch = less flow

100 cell cat
