I could not wait to mod out my car. It looks like crap with stock suspension not to mention the low hp.
Started with a BBSC, now I have a vented hood, GT wing, and working on sealing the undertray. Not sure what broke me down, still love looking at pristine stock cars too.

I did, and modified it as.... mostly OEM.

After doing the RDX injector swap (I told myself that was the last mod of that kind), I'm now curious to test out ID 725s!
It never ends.
I'm a bad scientist.
After $10k+ on mods, I've been admitted to modification rehab. I'm a recovering modaholic. I haven't picked up a wrench in 6 months.
I got my first acura silver center cap.

if you had a Zanardi or an 02+ i could maybe see not modding, but i would surely mod it... heck i'd even mod an 02 NSX-R.

The only things I changed were minor to amplify what was already there.
1.) Taitec JGTC Parallel Exit exhaust to add the little bit of growl the car lacked since the factory exhaust is so quiet you barely knew the car was running. It needed a 'bark' to fit its sports car personality.
2.) Bilstein Sport Shocks / Eibach Pro-Kit springs to hunch it down, eliminate the huge wheel gap and body roll, and make it more level in fast corners. The Comptech Sport Sway Bars were part of this too.
3.) Volk CE-28 Time Attack wheels. Went to a +1 upgrade on wheel size to get just a little more rubber on the road for high speed corners and track days.
Other than that, I felt no need to change anything. Forced induction, to me, just makes it 'another car', and not special to me. I like the naturally aspirated engine sound and body shape the way it is. No need for aero body kits for me.

Because it is my life, that's why....
I will never modify...until I save up enough money.![]()
I still wrestle with this decision. Most days I think I want to keep it stock, but then I get to browsing the forums and I start doing the mental mods, and then I get all excited! Ugh, my wife is going to hate me.
I think I want to keep things fairly simple though, so what I'd like to do, in this order:
- Window tint
- Suspension (drop)
- Wheels or spacers for stock wheels
- Sway bars
- New seat leather and door inserts
- Front lip
- Rear valence '02 upgrade
- Side skirts
- Exhaust, maybe Pride?
- Headers
- Steering wheel recover or replacement
