vBulletin version upgrade?

Any plans to upgrade from the current vBulletin Version 3.8.6 to vBulletin Version 4.1.10? A lot of new features and upgrades to the software. We're really on old software here on Prime...

I just recently did this upgrade on another forum I administrate, I absolutely LOVE the changes and the users do too.

Just curious, but what kind of enhancements are available in 4.1.10? The link for the full list of changes on the release page doesn't work:

That list is much more extensive than what I could ever come up with. Aside from that, the useability features from an administrative and user standpoint is highly approved and the forum will look much more sophisticated and new.

I do plan to go to 4.x at some point, I just haven't decided when. I actually mentioned this a few months ago: http://nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php?t=155152

I know the early 4.x versions were pretty troublesome which really made me want to wait until things stabilized a bit. From what I've read it got better somewhere around 4.1.x. Would you say it's pretty good now?

What were the biggest issues you encountered with the upgrade?

A few users reported an issue with uploading an avatar, but I haven't been able to specifically replicate that or identify what caused it. It somehow "worked itself out", so who knows what caused it.

Also, when having it linked to TapaTalk, the moderate thread options on the iPhone/iPad seem to lock up the device forcing me to shutdown the application. I think this is an app issue and not a vBulletin issue. I haven't figured that one out, but it's only been affecting me and no one else.

Also, the registration process for blocking spam accounts for some reason doesn't seem to be as effective. I have human verification questions asking questions like "First President of the US?" and "two + 3 + one equals ?", included with CAPTCHA, and more spam accounts are getting through. I'm working on that one now, not sure why.

Otherwise, everything else is FANTASTIC and I really like it.
