Spring driving season BBQ and kickoff party!! (Mitch-A-Palooza)

So....I am really thinking that having a BBQ and generally sweet gathering at my house to kick off the spring driving season is in order. NSXs are the main focus, but I would welcome other fun cars too. What would be the level of interest here in doing this?

I live on the north side of Indianapolis in a suburb called Fishers, so it is a pretty central location to most major cities, with plenty to do. What say you, group? Looking to do this by the end of April probably.

I'm definitely game. I suggest maybe having a drive and the BBQ on a Saturday and then maybe we could do the cars and coffee at McAlister's on Sunday.

Perhaps we would get some out of towners who want to stay the night Saturday and others could at least meet up on Sunday, if Saturday doesn't work for them.

Just a thought, either way count me in.

I think Car and Coffee is only on Saturday morning, but we could do a drive after that. I am open to whatever, we just need to know how many others are interested.

i'm only good on Sunday. Saturday sux for my kind of work. Same goes for my friend down here at Bedford. Chris know what we do..

On a side note, I'm thinking of joining the Z club so there are some events to attend this year. I would join the Jaguar club but I can't find any plaid pants that I dig.

Chris, We are having an event north of you early June then another down near me in end of June or early July.. Every thursday we sponsor an event at a local racetrack called Thursday Night Lights. So if you ever want to run down here it is on the west side of cincinnati at the 74/275 intersection. Awesome event runs from 6pm-12am. usually 1000 plus cars and 2,000 people.

Well I'm only about 5 months late on this one.
I have been initiated and really dig my plaid pants.

Not enough consistent interest. Hard to do events in the Midwest and get any more than 3 or 4 people.

Let me know about that chili cook-off. I loves me some chili.
