    H & R Springs

I purchased H & R lowering springs for my car at the time that I bought tires and rims which was about 14 months ago. Tires and rims were installed shortly after receiving them, but I am now wondering if I am going to install the springs as I still have questions about lip rub, every time I will going down my driveway and onto the street. Running stock springs and going straight down the driveway without turning as I enter the street will cause front lip rubbing(only done that once) but no issues by cranking the wheels and getting onto the street. If by lowering the car 1.5 inches, will I have problems even by cranking the wheels before I enter the street? The car would definitely look better dropped, but IMO the issue of rub would out-way the look factor. The tires and rims that I installed, give pretty much factory height, F 205/40/17 and R 255/35/18. I am hoping that some one will chime in.

    Thanks
    Joe

    Re: H & R Springs

You will definitely rub on things more if you lower the car. No doubt about it.

However, it only requires you to change your driving habits slightly and after a very short time it becomes second nature.

IMO, the drop, performance impact and look will outweigh the minor driving habit changes you'll need to make.
