not able to add photos

I know way more about cars than computers, anyway, my profile photo is on my user cp page only. doesnt show up when I post. also, have no idea how to make an album of my car photos to share with everyone, or how to add photos to posts. help appreciated

I would suggest hosting your pics at Flickr, Snapfish, Adobe Photoshop Express or something similar. Make sure the pics you want to use are set to public (not private or friends only, etc.). Once you have your pics set up there, those are the links you stick between the [IMG] tags in your posts here.

For your avatar pic, go to user CP, then edit avatar (look at the column of things along left side of window). Read the stuff at the bottom about both the physical size of the pic as well as the file size. You will need to crop, save at lower resolution, etc. (wash, rinse, repeat maybe) the pic you would like to use until the site software accepts it.

Thanks for reply TyraNSX. I am sure with that information I will be able to post photos. apparently it takes a little fidgeting sometimes. I will follow your advice. It is just killing me to have introduced myself, and told my story, and then have no photos to share. Thanks again.

To easily create an avatar you can use a number of different websites that will make them for you. Just pick the picture you want to use and the required size which is max 150x150 or 14.6kb on Prime and the website does the work for you.

Wow! Thanks so much for photo help. After days of fidgeting, complaining, cussing, giving up and then trying again, I finally have an avatar. Alan Kulwicki said "You are never beat, till you give up" I need to remamber that. Now I will bravely try to attach a photo to this post.
