rattle in passenger door

hello I have a 91 with about 70000 miles on now and its almost perfect.... except for this annoying rattle coming from the passenger side door.
i initially thought it was the passenger upper seat belt assembly as thats where the sound seems to originate from but it is hard too pinpoint exactly the spot. I changed out the seatbelt assembly with no luck.
before I take the whole door appart, I was hoping for some insight into what this could be.
any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure it isn't the side air intake behind the door. They do come loose. If you gently bang on the area with your fist, you can sometimes locate the source of the rattle.

thanks for that note!, seems pretty solid and not loose, may take the door apart this weekend, any other feedback is certainly appreciated.

you need to have someone ride in the car with you and locate where the sound is coming from I have found on the older NSX's the plastic interior A pillar loves to squeak also the leather door insert near the door handle.

also the interior headliner ( coupe )

you def need a passenger its alot easier to locate the squeak

oh one more thing the dash board very top vents squeak but could sound like its the door.
