Umm.. not exactly sure where to start with this one...
thinking about going with lowering springs, but by browsing through pics on prime most drops over 1" give a rake setup. can i add a 5-10mm spacer on the front coil like they do on lifted trucks to level out the low side?? i just want less of a raked look. thanks!!

I suggestion Bilstein's on lower perch. If you'd like to go lower than an inch, then Eibach's. Lower than that, go H&R.
If you're worried about rake, go with coilovers.

Since they are struts it's doubtful spacers would work and even so it can't be safe. Do what Z said.
NSX, making drivers smile since 1991.
Actually, not to sound like a know it all, but I've tried most of the basic lowering suspensions on the NSX, between my first and second NSX.
I've had Eibach's, H&R's, Neuspeed springs, as well as Bilsteins, custom Bilstein struts with adjustable perches(Dali coilover set-up) and now Tein Flex's. I've never noticed the raked look. Just FYI.

Don't really want coilovers, as this is just a weekend car and will never see the track. Basically just want to have an oem or a bit stiffer type ride without the 4x4 look. I read about the tein springs but the front looks high. I was thnking the tanabe springs, but front looks like it has no gap and rear has a 2 finger gap from what I've seen on here. Eibach seems like it epiphany be too low for me. Any recommendations?
Bilstein's on lower perch.

Can someone please explain what the "rake look" is?
Why would you want to get rid of the Rake? The NSX came with a slight "rake" straight from the factory. It would actually make sense to preserve it.
+1
+1 on this too.
The easiest way to get rid of the "rake" is to buy a slightly larger front tire than usual (though I highly advise against this). People run 225/40/17 and 235/40/17 (instead of 215/40/17)
235/40/17 front:
And some run 225/35/18 (instead of 215/35/18) and this tends to remove the rake as well as fill up the wheelwell much more. I don't like the way the front looks though as it looks like the tire is too big for the wheelwell (especially in comparison to the rear wheelwell)...
Front is 225/35/18

I think you need a muscle car.
i love japanese and euro cars, other car is a e39 M5!! i cant see myself owning a muscle, no matter how much i love the z06's.
anyways, i bought myself a set of tein s-tech springs, will match them up with bilsteins later on for the adjustability, but for now they are going on oem shocks. I want to do some maintenance since i just bought the car.
i dont want to completely eliminate the rake, just make it more subtle.

i do all my own work on my cars, so its not a big deal.
I'd just keep the OEM springs and do the Bilsteins on the lower perch.
Springs typically aren't the item that needs maintenance.. its the struts that fail.

I'm doing the springs for looks. I bought the car with 18/19 sf challenge's not lowered, so its sitting kinda high at the moment. Need to get rid of the gap, its bugging me looks wise.
What Adrian is saying is that if you put on the Bilsteins on the lower perch with OEM springs you will drop the car about 7/8", which I think is close to the Teins, and you would have new shocks to boot.
FYI, you can also machine in diffent grooves on the Bilsteins in case you want a different height. Shouldn't cost that much, assume a competent machine shop could do this or maybe Bilstein directly.

also keep in mind if its the Tein springs you are speaking about that most members on this forum have experienced more of a drop in the back than front making the car pitch up in the nose.
thats what i have! great setup!

More rake = more understeer.
Less rake = more oversteer.
The NSX should have anywhere from 1/8" to 1/2" of rake to handle properly.
