How does a car NOT show up on Carfax or Autocheck for 6 years?

This car has Free Carfax

but no records since March 2006 (but Autocheck shows it registered in TX Nov 2006, but nothing after that)

Maybe owner was deployed or just gone for all that time? And the few times they returned the car was not in need of servicing from a place that would record the oil change? (shrug) Maybe the car belonged to a deceased person and was sitting in a barn covered.

I don't ever trust any of those used car lots in Miami, they're literally everywhere selling "high end" cars in the crappiest of neighborhoods. Maybe this one isn't but I would definitely tread lightly with anything out of there.
