I also would like to get a double din console. I would rather buy one that has the holes already cut into it. Something that will look nice and feel factory.
So I've looked at a couple options for replacing the center console, and I don't want to chop up my OEM one.
The DF one seems to be still out of stock from SoS, and being redesigned I believe.
SoS does offer their own: http://www.scienceofspeed.com/produc...enter_console/
$250 for FRP, and I'd have to cut my own hole, which should be doable. I could also get the CF center console trim from SoS, for additional $139.
Or Dali Racing offers a CF one:

$289 for large weave CF, and it comes with the pre-cut hole.
I heard Dali's fitment isn't that great. Ideally I'd run a single-din for now, and swap to a double-din later on, so getting something with a double din opening or making that double din opening would work, as I could leave the other single-din as vacant for now.
Any ideas?

Yea, I am in the same boat. Just had my driver side amp rebuilt, a week later my passenger speaker blew. Just replacing the whole system now, the big hang up being how to do the center console the right way.
DF is supposed to be back in stock at Sos "late May"... so soon, hopefully.

Is there an aftermarket unit that is identical to the OEM one (without the $600 price tag)?
