did you break the car clip or the jumper harness that came with the kit? it's possible the oem connector will plug directly into the ballast.
So I installed a HID kit for my DD, a 2008 Civic Hybrid. Bought the kit off eBay from a vendor that whiteNSXs recommended.
After the install, the lights did NOT work (d'oh). I assumed that I got the red & black wires mixed up because I just arbitrarily installed them into the plug. So, in trying to undo the plug, I broke the clip (pic attached).
My questions:
1. Where can I get replacement clips?
2. What else could I have done wrong with the install? Everything else was pretty much plug n play.
I'm a bad scientist.

No dice, the OEM connector will not plug directly to the ballast. Honda Civics use H4(9003) bulbs/connector. The connectors on most ballasts are 9006 I believe.
Try theretrofitsource.com. I just ordered a retrofit kit for my Ridgeline and installed it this weekend. I saw they sell a kit with all sorts of connectors/plugs.

Update: I had the polarity reversed. Was able to ghetto-rig the connector/clip to work, we'll see how long it holds up!

That's typical of most Honda HID kits. Same with the NSX one from DDM. All you do is shave down the little polarity notch and wedged it in, it holds pretty well by itself in there. It'll stay in there because of the friction tension.
Option #2 is to do it this way, but the plug would always pop out for me.

My polarity requires reversing for both the NSX and the pickup. You can get a paper clip in there and unhook each pin and swap them that way. That's the cleanest way i've found to address the problem.
