A/C only blows on high speed...what do I replace?

My blower motor only blows when the right fan dial is on auto and the left temp dial is on the coldest setting, or when I turn the right fan dial on its highest fan setting.

In other words, it doesn't gradually blow more air as I turn the temp down, or the fan speed up.

Any thoughts on what I need to replace - the blower motor perhaps?

Very, very common issue, the climate control unit needs repair.

You can replace the climate control board with a new one from the dealer about $900 list price.

...or you can just get it to Brian, like so many of us have done, for a quick, prefessional repair. Oh yeah...he does Bose amps as well. Ask how I know

i just had a similar problem,fan only blowing on high,got a fixed cc board from brian, it works fine now.highly recommended.do a search,you'll find he has helped many of us here on prime.

My A/C is now working perfectly thanks to the new climate control board from BrianK.

Plus one as my CCU will be in route to Brian next week.

Makes me wonder in for my 19 yr old NSX what else can randomly fail and if it fails does it fail safe.
