Full interior swap

Who's done it or thought about doing it? I fell in love with a black/red '04 NSX that sold. Will probably end up buying a blk/blk or blk/tan, but I want to swap out for the OEM red interior (carpet, seats, floor trim door panels).

Has anyone done this? In theory it should be easy by ordering the OEM parts.

For the most part it should be straightforward but the problem is the dashboard.

If you want the dashboard that has the red bottom half you would have to swap our the entire dash as well

I was thinking about changing my interior to oem red but it would be extreamly expenssive if you wanted to go with new oem parts (close to $10k).

A lot of owners here modified their interiors to add red accents:

Its not for sale again, he just never took it down. I sent him a text this morning and he said the car was sold a while ago. I hate it when people don't take down their autotrader ads. The '99 w/'02 conversion and VolkGT-V's out of WI is also no longer for sale. But its still on autotrader.

It would likely be more cost effective to stick with all black dash, aftermarket red carpet + mats and then redo the seats

Red carpet, mats, and seats. Looks fine with black. Now I will throw out that an upholstery shop could probably covert the bottom of the dash part if truly wanted. You could also go all in and just send the dash to Ravi to be wrapped like Gill's interior. His car is freaking hot inside.

Gils interior is amazing. Likely the nicest NSx interior ever

Hugabuga reskinned his seats and leather trim, they came out extremely nice. You could do the same thing and just get red carpet. http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showth...=157635&page=3
