Has ne1 ever swaped a jze-gte, or skyline rb26dett engine in a nsx

or any other type of engine?

It would be interesting to know if you could fit any other type of engine in a nsx. I know the space is so limited. but hey
they put a skyline engine in a supra..
A supra engine in a mr-2, i'm sure they could do it for a nsx

but yes, why you gonna mess with the C30a/b?

i'm ready to get flamed lol..

yeah I did the RB26TT motor swap. But then I thought why stop there? SoI swapped the chassis, the body panels, the drivetrain, and every parts basically. So now I have a real SKyline GTR! I can't believe how different the car drives now!

Look for another thread on the forums about fantasy NSX engine swaps - maybe posting in there would go over a little better. If I had my way, I would put in a Chevy 350. 8P

URL needed a touch-up. Try this one: Jato unit .

LOL, that is a funny story. I can't imagine anyone dumb enough to attempt that. Must have been on a mission to reward someone with a life insurance policy.

I did the opposite; I wanted less power so I put an engine from a Ford Focus. Now, my NSX is starting to look like a Focus.

Its not bad. NSX guys are just having fun.

You should see the RX7 guys who do V8 swaps. Those guys have to put up with a lot of bashing from those that still run rotaries at www.rx7club.com

You better have a big gas tank!

    From http://performanceunlimited.com/illu...ul_engine.html

Even at its most efficient power setting, the Sulzer 12 cylinder consumes nearly 1,660 gallons of heavy fuel oil an hour.

Haha, my friend saw this on another forum and said this:

"Those are actually Honda engineers working on a new crank shaft for a SOHC motor.

Just goes to show how short the Japanese really are"

    Now thats funny

No flame here..but you must be taking crazy pills to even consider that motor swap even if it was possible. just buy a r34 and get the 800 hp option and walk all over eveyone and the hell with the swap..I really want a skyline! but not a bastard swap

Relax, Gokwi. We're not laughing at you, we're laughing with you! Besides, most people want Honda to do an engine upgrade, not perform their own swap.

An NSX w/o an NSX engine is no longer an NSX.
