Its about time we get our thread going....

Background - SCW Performance is a decent-sized performance shop located in Dallas, TX. We specialize in Honda/Acura performance upgrades and parts fabrication & design. After owning numerous other Hondas/Acuras, it was time to step up to the NSX platform. This will be our documented build. (Photos will be in no particular order)... Enjoy!

(Note, if you see any of the parts you have a question about, feel free to ask. We stock many of the NSX parts in our store..)

Shots taken at the last local Import Alliance meet:

I finally got around to swapping out the prototype tank to a production tank.. I decided on the silver anodized finish. Also note, we upgraded most of the factory bolts around the engine bay to the dressup bolts & accent washers. Just waiting on my comptech strut bar (red) to finish it off, it's getting re-anodized red. Enjoy!

I decided to put a pair of these on my own NSX this afternoon and share my feedback...My belts were getting a little dry-cracked from our hot TX sun so it was time to change them out with something a little better.

- Easy to install - I believe it took me about 30 minutes, including the time to hunt down tools hiding in the shop. I even stopped to take pics... :)
I just used a 10mm & 14mm socket, 14mm wrench, breaker bar, 3/8" extension 12", and a jack.

Finally got my pics uploaded of our new NSX GT Aluminum Radiator Brackets.

I may end up switching all the bolts to red for a little more pop...We'll see.

Here it is - the NSX Composite Fiberglass Double DIN Center Console...

I decided to post this as an informational writeup on our center console so you can get an idea of the fitment, and install.

First off, this console is pre cut for Double DIN head units. It retains the OEM coin tray, and auto climate fan vent, as well as offers a near factory fitment. Additionally, these are a very thick, solid fiberglass composite, not a bendy/wimpy console. Also worth mentioning, this console allows for the shift boot and coin tray to attach with OEM screws, not glue / adhesive like some other brand consoles, which makes installation much easier.

Now onto the pictures, on my console I decided to paint color-match to my NSX OEM Paintcode - 4 layers urethane primer, sanding inbetween each coat to 600 grit. 4 layers urethane base coat, and 3 layers urethane clearcoat which was wet-sanded to 3000 grit for final buffing.

NSX-R shift boot installed, coin tray, and auto climate fan

Here you can see everything uses OEM hardware, except the climate fan which I trimmed the mount ring off the ashtray assy. and bonded it to the back of the vent.

I had a chance to test install one of these bars yesterday, they are amazing. The build quality is very high, actually higher than I expected to see in person. Fitment is spot on, and the paint color is pretty neat in person. It is a chameleon blue-gold, the paint changes color as you move (color-shifting). Anyways, here is some installed photos of the 4-Point Engine Brace.

After a minor accident a few weeks ago when someone backed into my car, here it is back from the body shop! New DF GTS (Burnup style) front bumper and paint. I think this front compliments the DF sideskirts tremendously more than the Taitec front I previously had.

I also had my shipment of new KARO floor mats come in for the NSX. I forgot to update this post with them so enjoy! These are by far the best floor mats I have ever seen as far as quality goes, hand made in Japan.

Versus the OEM Zanardi floor mats (notice the heel wear after just 1 year of use…)

Curious with your df side skirts did you have to modify the tabs to get it almost flush with your doors/fenders? Mine sticks out maybe half inch step.

The car has had a few additions just in time for SEMA! Catch it on display at the BC Racing Na booth -
Custom color matched Stopteck BBK, BC Racing Triple-Adjustable ZR Coilovers, Custom Vinyl Wrap, DF Carbon engine covers, Mishimoto Aluminum radiator, Venair silicone hose kit, Odyssey race battery.

Heres a shot of the custom color we did on the stoptech bbk, it's HOK paint mixed to match the gold 3M vinyl we used on the livery.
