Great new non-mirror HomeLink Option

I installed one of these stand-alone HomeLink option from Mito and it worked great!

Here's pictures of the install.

Step 1: Using the supplied template cut a hole in the carpet on the inside right of the drivers footwell


Step 2: Place the Homelink sender unit behind the carpet with the console removed


Step 3: Snap on the faceplate


And you're done

you can also go to the salvage yard and pick one out of a sun visor for nearly nothing. just needs hot and ground.

Yep, I also had one connected to the JDM buttons in the ashtray slot.

I need to check that out. They are pricey if bought new. I'd love one for my NSX and my wife's truck.

Nice. I looked at Factory New units and they are way more pricey thant $20. If someone is willing to package a junkyard model and sell it for $20, that may work for me. Although a day scrounging around a junkyard is a good day.
