Flasher modules for LED retrofit

I ran across this link and it looks like I can just replace the flasher module and it will get get rid of fast blinking when one retrofits LED bulbs.

Any idea where is the flasher module is located in the NSX? If I ever go full LED retrofit I would rather not splice into OEM wirings.

they didnt work for our cars but a member on prime does the mod himself to your stock module. he did mine and it blinks like oem now.

You can also fix it with a 25 cent part ...

Go to an electronics supply store (or even just find some old circuitry) and get a capacitor. Open up the flasher relay and swap out the capacitor towards the middle of the board.

I think the stock one has a 16v 33uF capacitor, so replace it with something like a 68uF one and swap it out. Will take only a few minutes, even if you dont have mad soldering skills.

If I just change out the capacitor, what happens if someone replaced the led bulbs back to incandescent ones?

oh.. which one is the capacitor? LOL

From my reading of the datasheet, changing only the capacitor modifies the flash rate. So you would be slowing down the hyperflash to normal rates but no longer preserving the hyperflash function for detecting blown bulbs.

All parts ordered. Can't wait to try this.
