Maximum offset on a 10?

Reviving this old thread...

Hi everyone... As I'm about to order my new set of Work Meister S1 wheels... I wanted to ask from your experience if this setup would fit without rubbing under stock fenders on a NSX lowered with coilovers :

Front : 18x9 +48 with 215/35/18 tires ( is there any chance a +35 offset would fit ??? )
Rear : 19x10.5 +29 with 255/30/19 tires

As I'm from Belgium, they are very picky on the tire sizes here and this combo ( 215/35/18 & 255/30/19 ) is the only one that is street legal... So, starting from there, I'm trying to combine the most agressive wheel setup without rubbing...

Thanks guys !

I can't comment on the rear but I'm running +35 offset upfront due to my large Porsche 993 turbo brakes.
I've run 215/40*17 tires on 8*17 CE 28 wheels without any issue but...I have a Comptech camber kit that pulls the top of the wheel to the inside.
I would not recommend this offset without it or without larger front wings.
What tires will you be using?

In the front, I have no other choice than using some 215/35/18.

And also, here in Belgium, we must keep the camber in the the consructor's factory limits ! :(

If your 215/35-18 and 255/30-19s are your constraints. I would go with an 8" front and 9.5" rear wheel if handling is your priority over the stretched look.

Thanks for the advice stuntman ! :)

In fact, I'm already running 8" front and 9.5" rear Work wheels... but I want to go bigger and wider... as there's clearly sufficent room to do it.

I'm mainly cruising my NSX and not racing it so... handling won't be an issue. In fact, I'm just willing to use wider wheels and stretch the tires a bit ( I'm already 215 front and 255 rear )

So, my main concern is... What's the max offset I can go without rubbing. :)

try putting your wheel model in the search bar

Completely agree with Stuntman.
I'm currently running 215/35/18 on a 18x8.5 +42 and it's very stretched IMO. My rears are 19x10 +22 with 265/30/19 and it's stretched too. Too much for my tastes such that I may be selling the wheels soon.

This is Omega1's car with 18x9 +38 with a 215/30(35?) tire.

Thanks for your inputs guys !!! :)

Omega1's NSX is really the kind of stance I want ! In fact, I'm already running 215/35/18 tires on 19x8.5 wheels on my daily EDM TSX / Accord Tourer... I already put 200.000 miles on it without any issues !!!

I'm planning to use Yokohama S-Drive tires which stretch quite well... So, the setup on the NSX would just be 1/2" wider than the TSX...

Wish I could find more pics of Omega1's NSX and get his feedback on the drivability of the car ! :)

All pics of your stanced NSX's welcome !!!
