    Mk0u's 93 GPW build

I picked up this 93 GPW with 80k miles on it somewhere around March. It came with some SSR GT10 rims, re-upholstered interior (steering column trim, glove box, arm rest / cupholder, seats, and door sill covers. Interior made me feel uneasy but that's something I'll address sometime in the future. It also came with a painted white roof (perfect for me), but also came with a lousy sound system enclosure in the trunk that looked like something out of Fast and Furious.

    Before:

A pic of my 95 Hardtop SW20 3rd gen turbo that I sold to fund for mods for the NSX.

    After:

    Exterior:

    -Antenna mast delete
    -Wiper motor and arms delete
    -Front turn signal clear conversion
    -Clear side repeaters
    -Blanked sidemarkers
    -Type R NA1 front emblem
    -55w 5k HIDs
    -JDM third brake light
    -Modified tail lights
    -Type R rear center garnish
    -Battery quick disconnect
    -Gas cap spring clip
    -LED corner lights
    -LED reverse lights
    -LED side repeater lights
    -LED license plate lights
    -SOS red tow hook

    Interior:

    -Trunk sound enclosure delete
    -Painted radio bezel charcoal
    -LED dome light
    -LED corner lights
    -LED courtesy lights
    -LED trunk light
    -LED custom footwell light
    -OEM trunk carpet
    -Sunvisors deleted
    -Yellow guage needles
    -Personal Grinta 350mm
    -Boss hub
    -Razo black weighted shift knob
-3M crystalline clear tint (front windshield, rear hatch and both windows)
-Replaced engine and trunk hatch struts with gsb struts

    Engine:

    -SOS Type R engine cover
    -Coolant tank painted black
    -Chrome coolant cap
    -Intake resonator delete
    -Painted strut bar charcoal
    -Type R intake manifold plate
    -Charcoal canister delete
    -Tucked wires and grounds

    Suspension:

    -BC Racing + Swift Springs

    Wheels:

    -Enkei RPF1

    Exhaust:

    -Custom exhaust
    -Comptech headers
    -Cat deletes

    Future mods:

    -Re-upholster interior
    -New rims

Note: -I had a scary experience cutting my fenders to put on the sidemarkers as it was my first time but I did a great job on them. I got the measurements from another member on here.
-The engine and trunk struts were blown when I got them so I would always hit my head.
-The gas lid was missing the spring clip so I had to manually open it by pushing in on the lid to pop it out.
-The 3m clear tint cost me a pretty penny but it was worth it.

Very nice Mk, you've made all the right changes to it, I'd opt for deleting the tow hook myself but definitely a clean ride. You and hatchieg have similar cars at the moment, interested to see how they both evolve over time.

Thanks! I have a spare tow hook cover just in case if I ever want to switch it out.

Car looks great! The interior isn't that bad actually. Looking forward to future updates.
