I think it will be a ton of fun.
Sounds pretty cool, how fast can a NSX get in a 1/2 mile ? Haven't ever had the chance/desire to do 110+ in this car, or 130+ in any car for that matter.
Figure stock you are around 106 in the quarter mile, I would think 130 sounds doable. It will be interesting to see what a sc nsx does. Oki boy did 147 I think with his turbo.
Yea that would be nice to see. I'll probably get in on this as long as my kid is born on time.

I cant confirm or deny I got mine across a local bridge at 171 with my 5-speed with TCS off before it was converted to 6-speed and before I had 3 children, never gotten past 120 since I upgrading to 6-speed.

SUNEDAZ in his stock 2002-2003 did 133mph at 2700ft. I did 154mph with a 450hp Lovefab at the same altitude.
This event is near sea level so you can add about +/- 5mph.
I will be at this event with a few heavy hp friends.
Those who are interested, these events sell out quick with a lot of out of town participants so when it goes live, jump on it immediately.

Registration opens tomorrow. Who is in? I am going to do Sat racing only. Its $225. Both days is $400.

This event is just over two weeks away, and I'm thinking of going as a spectator. How many NSX drivers are going to be there on Saturday the 24th?
I switched my car to Sunday. I haven't seen any hint of another NSX on either day.
Looks like the event is sold out for both days.

I went. Kinda OK, drifting a bit bit boring after a while but the guys doing crazy stunts on bikes were pretty wild. Car show was mostly Japanese hatches etc. Drag racing was pretty cool, especially the 911 turbo doing a consistent 102mph on the 1/8th.
Just as I was leaving there was a dragster that crashed after the finish line, ambulances called etc. No idea what happened though and nothing on the website.
Overall, OK, will go again but why label it a Paul Walker tribute? NO sign at all of anything related to that, charity etc but may have missed it.
