Spare Tire

Does anyone know if there is a spare tire on the market that is already inflated (Donut) that will fit the NSX and also fit under the hood?
Mine didn't come with a spare (bought used) nor the pump. Thanks

There is not. If it fit under the hood when already inflated, it would be way too small in outer diameter to keep the car up off the ground.

Two solutions,
i)buy a second hand NSX spare, have the rotted rubber removed and replace with newer from a second hand Mercedes SLK,
ii) just buy the mounted second hand SLK wheel and tyre and adjust the pcd to fit.

another source of the collapsable spare is mercedes ..... either use it as a tyre donor, or redrill to suit as seen here....

Question-
Will the VREDESTEIN Space Master Collapsable 15" Spare Tire space saver Tire work on the 16/17" staggered rims of the 1994 up NA1?

If you can get that tyre onto the NSX spare wheel from your NSX, it should perform exactly like the factory spare tyre - it is the wheel that fits the car specifically.

where are you guys buying this spare tire rubber? i can find wheels all day but no tire for sale

it seems the only way to get the tyre is as part of a spare wheel package from whatever manufacturer, then find a friendly tyre fitters to swap it into the NSX rim.....
