OEM Steering Wheel differences?"

I searched but did not find the answer to this simple question. Are there any differences between OEM steering wheels throughout the years, other than the perforated leather that later models got? I am about to do a custom wheel wrap and want to keep my original intact so I will be buying a used one to mod. Older models are cheaper so I would like to pick up one of those if possible.

1991-1999 has black stitching
1999 Zanardi has red stitching with perforated leather
2000-2001 has black stitching with perforated leather
2002-2005 has gray stitching with perforated leather

Thanks for the quick insight :smile: The leather and stitching are not important to me since I will be re-wrapping it anyway. Just wanted to be sure there were no mechanical gotchas.

AFAIK the only differences are the stitching and leather like skafia said

To add on that,

EDM/JDM cars have a red stitched steering wheel option from 2002-2005, black stitching is standard on 2002-2005 Honda's
