Turn signal not canceling WITH clean contacts

Hey Guys,

Have a none canceling turn signal since I got the car 3 years back. Finally got some down time to get in there and clean the contacts. However, even with clean contacts there is no cancel. Traced the cancel switch to the black box on top of the column. When a turn signal is engaged and the wheel is turned, a relay click is heard from within the box however the solenoid within the signal stalk does activate to cancel. Has anyone experienced this before I pull out the multimeter?

thanks

I'd bet money your signal cancel module has failed. When mine failed it continued making a relay noise as if it were still working, yet the turn signal never canceled. I tried cleaning the contacts too but it did no good. When I replaced the module all the problems were gone. The part number is 35285-SL0-A01 and is $256 from here....

Has anyone else noticed how quickly some of the NSX parts are increasing in price? I bought this same part only 2 years ago for $170.

The previous owner of my NSX swapped that same relay out back in 2005 or 2006 I noticed the price was $150 according to Acura receipt he had. Only reason I looked it up, was cause mine is starting to act up, but I haven't tried cleaning the contacts on it yet. Prices are going up, that is crazy.

When I first purchased my nsx it was among one of the tiny issue it had. But after cleaning the contacts, it fixed itself. That's a long awhile ago.
