history behind it
I call it a barn find NSX
Was purchased with intent to be a full race car by previous owner, just ended up being a forgotten project until she met me:smile:
First priority is inventory and cleaning since some things either, broken, cut, or sold off

First wash in probably 6 years

Already took engine out, replaced all seals, hoses, t-belt, valve adj, rebuilt axles

paint trick

I am a Type R guy so I found that ITR grommets work on here(shinny)

FUEL PUMP NOT KICKING ON, SO WAITING ON THAT NOW

Good luck with your project.

I'm happy you bought this.
I had been considering making an offer, but it was just a little too far away and my wife would be a little too pissed.

What foam did you use for the door triangles & blower motor?
Its called EPT tape I work at acura and we have rolls of it for vibrations and such kinda $$$ though
part #'s
06992-sa5-000(thick)
06991-sa5-000(medium)
06990-sa5-000(thin)
also have velt tape, like a cloth
06993-sa5-000

Chase, which part no did you use for the blower motor? I need to do the same real soon. I'll be following you on some things! You are moving fast!

didn't get anything done this weekend, was a Circuit of the Americas for the World-Challange races but saw a few NSX's there

Got the coilovers figured out but still want longer springs and different rates

Placed bumper on just for looks

What was the issue with the coilovers? Dont tell me they had them swapped front to back?

I still have not had a chance to run by the shop but will %100 be there this Sunday.

Wow, nice progress. The car looks like a excellent project. Is this the car that had the inside of the doors gutted and cut? Are you going to keep it as a track car, or try to turn it into a road legal warrior?

The fan on the right hand side of the engine is interesting. Does it bring more dust into the engine bay? Or does it really helps to cool down the bay area.
