Just seeking opinions on what colors you folks out there like the most on the NSX.

I like the 130R White - Red Interior - Red brake calipers look.
What interior combination goes best with the Curva Red? What do you guys think of Curva Red - is it too red? too flashy?

just seeking some thoughts - thanks

I think white with red or black interior will be one of the most popular choices

my opinion fwiw....white will be the least popular. Many of the new car buyers will associate a white car with rental cars in Florida:wink: not many will have the nsxr fanboy love we have here.

There's no such thing as "too flashy" when it comes to an NSX. "Too flashy" is for a daily sedan, an SUV, a family car, etc. Don't kill the car with conservatism. It looks great, let it not make excuses for itself. The one interior I would never ever ever pick is black. Every single econobox out there comes with a black interior. BO-RING.

I like White, but the color is forgettable in a nearly 200k car. Nouvelle blue is nice but I can't really picture the other colors well.
I've googled a few pictures but have yet to see a good representation of Nord Gray or the other whites (besides 130R).

I think the white/red combo is classic Honda Motorsports. My only problem with Honda's red leather interior is how it ages. They turn a dark grimy maroon after a while. Old alcantera looks gross too (at least in the old Audis). I hope the latest synthetic alcanteras age much better.

For a car I plan to keep for an extended period and the drive a lot I tend to go with White/Black simply for this issue with longevity. Granted, I only buy new cars in White. Paying the white color tax on a used car is ridiculous to me. My used cars tend to be black which is a close 2nd personal favorite color.

White with all black interior. Carbon roof and adds but not carbon interior. Red brakes no additional spoiler and the original Y rims not fancy ones. Alcantra additions and no power seats for sure.

I am disappointed in a lot of the NSX offerings inside and out. But to answer what you asked, no I don't think it is too much red. I think the red interior is very sports. There aren't too many cars with red interiors. The ones that do have it are sports cars. Rarity plays a role here. If I was to daily the car I may want a more muted exterior color but this car is already a bit conservative and "daily" for a supercar. I don't think I would want colors that are common. Silver, gray (even the nord which looks more olive on a PC but I assure you, it is gray), black (because it hides too many contours and scoops and is a common car color). I would tend to go blue, red, and perhaps white (which is again common). The blue is $6,000 more money. That's nuts but it is a pearl. I have a Blue pearl Maserati and I love it. Just absolutely love it. The color makes the entire car. I don't like the black calipers at all. The carbon rotors are black, they make the entire wheel a "hole". The brakes are expensive and I would get red calipers (I would have preferred other colors) so they are more visible.

Anyway my preffered combination is this:

Also thinking about Curva red. Red interior with TOO much red. Going black interior and red calipers. Still trying to determine about carbon. Concerned about yellowing and cracking - especially the roof. Go to the dealer to see the real colors. The gray has a clear green tint which is noticeable outside. I wish the blue was more Monte Carlo Blue vs the current color

Man. After a taking a long hard look, I've decided in Curva Red With a Red interior. It's a lot of red but it is very striking. I love the blue with the polished wheels but wish the blue as a different shade. Also wish there were a few more wheel choices. What does everyone feel about the carbon fiber interior and exterior options?

Congrats!!!

I've seen the car in person several times. This was a photo of my car with the new one in 130R. It had an all black interior but with all the carbon parts. The wheels, with carbon blade inserts are NOT attractive in person unless you like that sort of look. It's like bolting on a carbon fiber panel on an aluminum car. It serves no purpose. It's just masking the aluminum underneath. The stock wheel looks the best (to me) and is the lightest of the bunch.

All of the other carbon parts look great. The weaves are all top notch. The aero carbon parts are also a semi-matte dry finish look. I wonder how they withstand a protective wax coating. The carbon roof is a high gloss finished product. I would be shocked if these parts dull and faded with today's UV protective clearcoats--- you never know.

Yep - that settles it

Thanks RYU for posting that pic. I think that 130R is a nice color, but not quite as striking standing still. Good to hear
that the carbon fiber parts are not gimmicky. Wish they had more CF interior options. That 130R rims that you show in the
pic look very similar to the BMW i8.

thanks again -

my favorite combo is the Casino pearl white with red interior with the carbon wing standard Y spoke wheels with the red calipers ...

Send it!!!

In all the cars i've purchased in my life white tends to look better over time. It's not always my go-to color when new. I agree that white in the new NSX isn't as striking. However, history tells me, i'd probably buy this car in White or Black with Blue being the distant 3rd. If I was leasing it.. I'd buy a more interesting color like the grey or blue. Tough choice! I hope curva red turns out amazing for you!

btw.. I wonder when will they introduce a yellow variant.
