Planning to ship my NSX here to the east bay from Memphis later this month.
I did some searching, as was considering putting the car in a secure garage that I can access for the recreational drives. I found a place called Virtuoso Performance in Hayward, but does any of the locals folks have another/better suggestion?

Check out "Borelli Motor Sports", located in the club autosport complex in north san jose.

I spoke with a Ray Warner back in early 2015 about storing my NSX there and was quoted $400/month-to-month for secure storage. cars are available to access from 8am-5pm, and they provide a battery tender for each car as well.

There's also AutoVino, but they are pretty full - I was quoted $600/mo per car.

Have you thought about just getting a locked box at any of the normal everyday storage places. You should be able to find one for cheaper than the "Automotive" specialist places. Why pay extra for a place that will charge you to or included adding gas, charge your battery and limit the hours you can get your car? Any normal storage place will have a guard and 24 hours cameras and anytime access.

When I bought my NSX in the Bay Area and shipped it to Houston, I used a place called Affordable Self Storage near pier 70 on the waterfront. They had lockable storage rooms and open storage parking spots. Granted I only had it there for a few days and put a car cover on it. But it had 24 hour access, a security guard, and was reasonably priced. Plus they had plenty of room for the carrier truck to get in and grab my car. It worked out perfectly. There were lots of other cars being stored there. Granted it was on the water so I wouldn't want to leave anything there for very long outside.

Just wanted to raise the option of not using a specialist place, you would be surprised at the normal places that will store your car trouble free without paying out the nose. Call around and I bet you can find something 5-15 min from your place.

indeed any self storage with the 10x20 units will easily fit your car...I did that for 10 years living in an apt...100-150/mo depending on the location.

There is also a place I think in Sausalito that have this service. But I'm sure you can find better options and prices sticking to the East bay.

damn, was looking around for car storage and looked into getting a 10x20 spot at a public storage nearby. $300-320/month! :(

Check out a1 storage. I used to use them. It was great and much cheaper than public storage.
