Question: ScienceofSpeed Door Speaker Panel Pair Kit

When using that SOS speaker mounting kit are the components secured nicely to the door?
I ask because our doors are not perfectly smooth around the speaker area.

Will there be a lot of space between the component/speaker kit the door?

They are designed to reuse the same attachment points as the speaker/amps. Yes, mine fit quite well and very secure.
