Where are all the Production deliveries ??

You two old school Honda fanboys sound butt hurt the most out of everyone on this forum. Everyone wants the new NSX to drop, but only you two seem to perpetuate how much Honda has fallen from the golden era. I've never really saw Honda up there to begin with so my expectations aren't as high. They are simply a smaller company than Toyota and Nissan out of Japan, so they should actually be a bit more organized and concise of the big 3 from Japan. That's my only viewpoint of Honda.

mate, i'm not sure who you think you're talking to? i'm seriously beginning to wonder if you're delusional?

AGAIN, SHOW ME THE CLAIMS OF PRODUCTION TARGETS PUBLISHED. There is only speculations from reviewers and new reporters.

now's a good time for you to (once again) reinsert your foot into your giant sized mouth. seriously, you dispute anything that isn't kissing the new NSX's arse. it may be terrible, it may be great? but you can't refute irrefutable facts. take your head out of the sand. and if you won't do that, stop typing...

The multiple sources you listed were early before they decided to change the configuration to longitudinal which is substantial reasoning for a delay and announced ahead of time. The rest of which say "slated" which is industry term for tentative not exact.

The only concrete one published by Honda says serial production begins in April:

http://world.honda.com/worldnews/2016/c160323Acura-NSX-New-York.html

Of which they did meet hence the published stuff from the first 0001 serial. It made no mention of exact deliveries.

So AGAIN, Lexus/Toyota taking 9 years. Nissan taking 8 years. No one whined. But dear ol Honda is quiet for 2 months and it's embarassing. A $300K supercar from Toyota uses a single clutch and makes less horsepower than the new NSX on the dyno, but it took 9 years to come to the streets. Now that's more embarrassing.

People posting pics of delivered cars.

Who's the fool here?

According to Rolled on Temple of Vtec -

Deliveries are finally happening!!!!!

Houston Acura just got one delivered.(red with option chrome wheels)

So this particular thread can now be put to rest. :)

A contact told me the factory was running about a month behind due to some technical issues.
I see notice of deliveries are starting to trickle in.
Looks like Honda stuck to their knitting, worked out their problems, and are shipping cars.

A Slew of production trim cars hit the UK last week for the Speed Festival. Other dealers took delivery ~2 days ago.

I'm surprised no one has posted. Just because it's quiet up here, doesn't mean it's not happening.

Who's the fool here?

that'd still be you.

no one here was talking about Nissan or Toyota. the discussion was of the NSX delays, of which there have been a few. of months and years, that's simply fact. but i know you would continue to argue that the sky was green no matter how many people told you it was blue, and cars are now being delivered so i'm done with this thread. ciao...

Blue and green are indistinguishable words in some cultures my friend.

The biggest delay was for the Twin Turbo V6 to be mounted straight instead of across. That's an acceptable delay versus the propose NA V6 sidewinder.

They started production back April as published. There have been plenty pics of serial production NSX 2.0s over the last two months. They've kept the cars for various reasons and have been rolling them out by the time this thread was created. Just because no one posted here doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Who cares? Deliveries! I'm so excited for the prospective owners!

You guys should be celebrating, not arguing! Get thee to the closest dealer with a new NSX and bask in its coolness.

I felt much better once I got the info Tuesday that cars have shipped.

It was even better Wednesday when folks shared pics of the new arrivals.

I will check in with my source in the middle of next week to see how well the factory is rolling.

seeing that stores have them is encouraging.

distribution seems random. we're a top 10 store in the nation and we're getting #32 . we're larger than santa monica.

Saw a Red NSX heading north on De Anza Boulevard in Cupertino this afternoon, the driver ended up making a right turn into Homestead Road.

Could be one of the many Apple folks who enjoy their toys given that the Apple campus is right off I-280 and De Anza, or maybe a dealer car from Stevens Creek Acura in Santa Clara, the car had a standard CA license plate and not a dealer plate nor a manufacturer plate as far as I could tell.

I would expect LA to get an early unit
Powd, where is your store?

here is a list of the best cities to spot a supercar I found

 • Las Vegas, Nevada (particularly “The Strip”)
 • Beverly Hills, California
 • Miami, Florida
 • Palm Beach, Florida
 • Newport Beach, California
 • Malibu, California
 • Fort Lauderdale, Florida
 • Greenwich, Connecticut
 • Houston, Texas
 • Chicago, Illinois
 • San Francisco, California
 • Jacksonville, Florida
 • Plano, Texas
 • Scottsdale, Arizona
 • Orlando, Florida

Also mentioned was Boston, MA and Leawood, KS

surprised NY, Seattle, Atlanta were not included

Long Island, just imagine the market adjustment on that one

Back to my list, DC/northern VA should see early cars too

- - - Updated - - -

On Cars.com I saw the car Bruce mentioned 019, and to my surprise Hendrick has 002 listed

Acura must have given him a thank you for being the high bidder for 001

I am number #1 at a Hendrick dealership (not sure how many Acura dealerships he has). I hope the "thank you" applies to his other locations too.

I believe he has 6 Acura stores

as you are getting # 100, your car should be delivered in a month (optimism utilized)

I'm back from vacation on Aug 4th, so one month would be perfect! My dealer has not given me a specific number yet (is that odd / suspicious?). IIRC, they said I will be in the batch that would include cars 80-100 (or 85-100, I can't remember).

I have been watching this thread for a while and figured it was about time to officially join in the discussion.

I have NSX #22 coming to Acura of Boston. This is their first allotment and I closed the deal on 2/26/16.

I will be sure to post here when I get my call that it has arrived.

Greetings nosirrahx

I used to live in Brookline

you should have your car very soon and then you can have fun on Newberry St

have they fixed up their store? I bought a TL from them in 04 and it was pretty bare bones

did they charge a market adjustment of any sort?

I actually live out in western MA, this dealership was the only one in MA that would even take me seriously when I started the process back in Feb of this year.

I am in Boston a lot though for the car shows (currently drive a modified RS7) and a lot of my car bros live out there so I am in town quite a bit.

The store did look recently renovated so I am going to say yes.

Does not look like anything was adjusted....other than me checking most of the boxes.

I cant wait to get my hands on this thing. We have new pavement on most of the great driving roads and since the 8 contiguous towns out here total less than 9000 people I will have them all to myself.

EDIT TO ADD:

My current ride.

Mean sounding Audi

495 is also a fun road

whats colors in and out did you go with?

glad they treated you right

the big Honda dealer, Chambers has a history of doing market adjustments

Thanks :)

I went with blue and as much carbon as I could get, wheels are black.

The only real change I might do is to get the NSX logo on the brakes painted a brighter contrasting color.

I have black brakes and I did not have the option of color matching blue on the NSX logo, really thinking about getting that done.

Very cool

did your dealer give you an update on where your car is on the process time line?

i am thinking you would at least be "on order"

NY knows how to do a market adjustment

i can only imagine what Hendrick will extract for 002

I have my build sheet delivered to the dealership last week (picking it up on the 10th).

They are being either very tight lipped or kept in the dark because they have absolutely nothing approaching a timeline for me.

You would have to think though that with #22 I have to be soon, unless there is a massive shipping delay.
