GPS can't acquire satellites anymore

I have the Kenwood KNA-G510 (Garmin) navigation system along with my Kenwood DDX-6019 unit. For some reason, it doesn't acquire satellites anymore. I've never touched the unit itself (unplugged the antenna etc) so any idea why this would be the case? Do I need to get some sort of software update? My unit was installed in 2006.

Try a hard reset. Look for the reset button.
I had to do that on my old alpine DD unit every once in awhile.. It was annoying to say the least.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did a reset but it didn't help.

An email to the manufactured may be in order. Sorry can't help you more..
